Standard Registration $15, after March 1st
On site registration $15, must be completed by 12:45pm on event day

3 round swiss – Everyone plays 3 rounds with players of similar score
Time Control: 10 minutes + 10 second increment (10|10)

Timings: March 8th, 2025
Check in by 1pm
Round 1 ~ 1:10pm
Round 2 ~ 2pm
Round 3 ~ 3pm
Award Ceremony ~4pm

Requirements: Must know the basic rules of chess and how to use a chess clock.

Tournament Rules and Policies:
This is a new tournament organized by the Gem Chess Academy. While standard chess rules will be followed, the enforcement of specific regulations such touch move, 50-move rule, insufficient material draws, clock-related disputes, etc… is at the discretion of the tournament organizers. Adjustments may be made to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone.

In the event of a tie, rankings may be determined by tiebreaker criteria or by blitz games to break the tie.
